Company History

Bollinger Energy is a privately held energy corporation founded in 1988 in Baltimore, Maryland to serve the petroleum needs of local commercial, industrial and institutional organizations. In the spirit of recognizing and responding to the needs of our customers, natural gas was added as a product in 1993 when deregulation came to the state of Maryland. In 1994, our wholly owned subsidiary, Chesapeake Transit Inc. opened for business to improve transportation services to our petroleum customers. Finally, when in 2005 electricity was deregulated, the company once again took action to fulfill our customer's needs.

The current structure of Bollinger Energy as a full service energy supplier, providing petroleum, natural gas and electricity evolved out of our commitment to address the needs of our customers in an ever changing energy landscape. In the process, our service footprint grew from the local Baltimore area to the entire Mid-Atlantic region, and we are proud to be the only local company to provide all three major energy sources.
